Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Medicine Faculty was
officially established in 2000. First students of the
faculty have been educated in Istanbul University since
2002, and it has been continuing active education in
Çanakkale since the academic staff of
the faculty has become completed in 2007. Also the university
hospital has been serving since 2008. |

| The mission of Canakkale Onsekiz Mart
University Faculty of Medicine is to enable our students to
get a good practitioners and specialists, who can diagnose
and treat diseases properly, and can improve public health,
and is to perform researches using new technologies to
contribute medical literature. |
