Dear Students

An Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) will be applied to make an end-of-year evaluation of the professional skills you have acquired during the academic year and to add them to the final grade.

For OSCE Term 1, Wednesday, June 26, 2024 will be all day. For Term 2, Thursday, June 27, 2024 will be all day. For Term 3, Friday, June 28, 2024 will be all day. On the exam day determined for Term 1, 2 and 3, the class will be divided into two parts and the first part will be tested from morning to noon, and the second part will be tested from noon to evening. Our students will be able to learn what time they will take the exam from the lists sent to class representatives the day before the exam.

On the exam day, the exam will be administered to each class in the Faculty of Medicine Dean's Office Building in two sections (the first being the dean's office corridor and classroom, the second being the dean's office upper floor corridor and rooms). Our students will encounter four stations in the exam. At each station, the student will have 2.5 minutes, and during this time, his/her application of the expected skill in accordance with the skill guide he/she learned during the year and by following the steps in the correct order will be evaluated.

Students take the exam with their phones, tablets, smart watches, etc. Possession of technological and digital devices is strictly prohibited. A report will be kept about students who bring such devices with them and necessary procedures will be initiated. Students who enter the stations during the exam cannot leave the exam and the stations before completing four stations. Students who leave the stations will not be allowed to take the exam again. The student who completes the stations will leave the deanery building through the fire escape exit and will not be allowed into the exam floors of the deanery building.
