DEAN'S MESSAGE

Our faculty; with the principle of providing medical education at world standards; is an institution that evaluates health and disease within biological, psychological, social and cultural integrity, is equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills and competencies to protect and develop health and respond to the health problems of the society with qualified health services; practices its profession with respect for human and patient rights and in accordance with universal ethical principles and legal rules, has acquired the attitude and skills to continue lifelong learning, and aims to train physicians who can contribute to scientific developments. It is a faculty that aims to find a place in the scientific world with its research and strives to be a competent institution in health services.

Our faculty's educational goal is to have an innovative, integrative and developmental approach in education, accept the National Core Education Program (UCEP) as its core, educate, teach, know the purpose of what it teaches, aim for the continuous development of competencies, and measure and evaluate applications.

Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Faculty of Medicine attracts more and more attention every day with its national and international successes in different fields, and is among the priority choices both in pre-graduate medical education and post-graduate medical specialization training. The sole reason for this is that the quality in medical education can be provided at world standards. We received our accreditation certificate on 02/29/2020 in order to document this situation.

Undoubtedly, education and training are among the most valuable sacred things. The fulfillment of this sacred duty is provided by valuable faculty members. Our faculty members who know their responsibility, are scientific, productive, have a command of their subjects, and are aware of the sensitivity of their job are the most important guarantee of what we will do.

I am happy to promise that we will ensure that our students, who we invite to take their first step into the medical profession in Çanakkale, which is advancing on the path of an exemplary university city, remember their faculties happily when they complete their education process, increase their professional competence, gain the characteristics of being a scientist, and that we will provide all kinds of initiatives, changes and renewals and complete change management.
